Kairos is a series of large-scale chalk lithographs based on a drawing developed directly on the lithographic stone through the gradual accumulation of countless fine lines, forming an almost continuous pictorial field. Each print combines this shared lithographic image with a unique coloured ground of pigment and oil paint.

At first glance, the works appear almost monochromatic. Only through closer inspection do subtle shifts in colour and traces of drawing emerge, while changing viewing distances continually transform their appearance.

The series unfolds through movement, duration, and comparison. As viewers move and return to the works, the variations become perceptible and each work reveals itself in relation to the others. In this sense, perception is not immediate but develops through sustained engagement.
